The original song by Slimane Azem is played on his acoustic guitar. There are some old studio recordings of this song where the pitch is slightly below A440 Hz, but there are also some standard pitch recordings out there. I’m playing it in standard pitch A440 Hz for convenience if you want to play along. You can play this song in E A D G tuning (Mi, La, Ré, Sol) or D A D G (Ré, La, Ré, Sol) because Slimane Azem didn’t use the bass string for the song, but it does resonate nicely in D A D G tuning, (Ré, La, Ré, Sol) so that’s the tuning I used here.
