The late artist Sheikh Aarab Bouizgarne is an icon of Algerian art, singing, and music, especially in the Kabyle-speaking Amazigh community. He was born in the Jemaa Saharij region of Tizi Ouzou on May 27, 1917, and died at the age of 70 on April 2, 1988. He spent his childhood in his native village in the Kabylie region, located thirty kilometers east of Tizi Ouzou. In 1942, he left for Algiers and met the late Cardinal Hadj M'hamed El Anka, the dean of Algerian folk art, and joined his troupe. He immigrated to France in 1946 and met many artists, including the late Sheikh El Hasnaoui, Slimane Azem, Dahman El Harrachi, Bahia Farah, Fatima Zahra, and other veteran Algerian artists. In 1950, the late artist Aarab Bouizgarne published his first song, "Anfas Anfas," meaning "Leave it, Leave it," on the subject of the situation of immigrants in France. Artists of the time often addressed the theme of migration and exile. His first song achieved unprecedented fame. It is still performed by many singers to this day. After presenting many essential works, he left behind several albums, including the titles of his songs "Amimzran," "Bismillah Tadda," "Rai Oulach," and others. يعد الفنان الراحل الشيخ أعراب بويزڨارن، من رموز الفن والغناء والطرب في الجزائر في مكونه الأمازيغي الناطق بالقبائلية، ولد الراحل في منطقة جمعة سحاريج مقلع تيزي وزو، يوم 27 مايو 1917، وتوفي عن عمر 70 عاما، يوم 02 أبريل 1988، قضى طفولته في قريته الأصلية في منطقة القبائل الواقعة على بعد ثلاثين كيلومترًا شرق مدينة تيزي وزو.
في عام 1942، غادر إلى الجزائر العاصمة والتقى بالكاردينال عميد الفن الشعبي الجزائري الراحل الحاج امحمد العنقا، وانضم إلى فرقته، هاجر إلى فرنسا سنة 1946 والتقى بالعديد من الفنانين منهم الراحلون الشيخ الحسناوي، سليمان عازم، دحمان الحراشي، بهية فرح، فاطمة الزهراء، وغيرهم من قدامى الفنانين الجزائريين في عام 1950، نشر الفنان الراحل أعراب بويزڨارن أول أغنية له بعنوان "أنفاس أنفاس" بمعنى خليه خليه، حول موضوع حالة المهاجر في فرنسا. لقد تناول فنانو ذلك الوقت موضوع الهجرة والمنفى في كثير من الأحيان. حققت أغنيته الأولى شهرة غير مسبوقة. ويغنيها أيضًا إلى يومنا هذا العديد من المطربين. بعد أن قدم العديد من الأعمال الأساسية، سيترك عدة أسطوانات ومن عناوين أغانيه "أميمزران"، " باسم الله تبدو"، "الراي أولاش"...وغيرها.

Le regretté artiste Cheikh Aarab Bouizgarne est considéré comme l'une des icônes de l'art, du chant et de la musique en Algérie, dans sa composante amazighe, parlant kabyle. Le regretté artiste est né dans la région de Jemaa Saharij à Tizi Ouzou, le 27 mai 1917, et décédé à l'âge de 70 ans, le 2 avril 1988. Il a passé son enfance dans son village d'origine dans la région de Kabylie, situé à trente kilomètres à l'est de la ville de Tizi Ouzou.
En 1942, il part pour Alger et rencontre le regretté cardinal et doyen des arts populaires algériens, Hajj Mohamed El Anka, et rejoint son groupe. Il immigre en France en 1946 et rencontre de nombreux artistes, dont feu Cheikh El Hasnaoui, Slimane Azem, Dahman El Harrachi, Bahia Farah, Fatima Zahra et d'autres artistes algériens vétérans. En 1950, le regretté artiste Aarab Bouizgarne publie sa première chanson, intitulée « Anfas Anfas », signifiant « Laisse, laisse », sur le thème de la condition des immigrés en France. Les artistes de l’époque abordaient souvent le thème de la migration et de l’exil. Sa première chanson a atteint une renommée sans précédent. Elle est également chantée par de nombreux chanteurs à ce jour. Après avoir présenté de nombreuses œuvres essentielles, il a laissé plusieurs albums, dont les titres de ses chansons : « Amimzran », « Bismillah Tadda », « Rai Olash », et d’autres.
